Being promoted and being prepared to lead are two very different things.
The New Fire Officer’s Playbook is designed to help current and aspiring fire officers develop the mindset, leadership skills, and confidence needed to lead both in the firehouse and on the fireground.
This course goes beyond tactics and textbook definitions. We’ll talk about the real-world challenges that come with stepping into a leadership role: earning the respect of your crew, communicating effectively, making decisions, handling conflict, building culture, mentoring your firefighters, holding people accountable, and understanding the responsibility that comes with sitting in the right front seat.
Whether you recently received your first set of bugles, have been an officer for years, or are a firefighter preparing to take that next step, there is something to take away from this program.
Event Information
Check-in will be held from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM, with a light breakfast served during check-in.
Tickets: $60 per person
Attendance is limited to just 70 people, so early registration is encouraged.
The course is open to all firefighters, but is especially geared toward current company officers, newly promoted officers, and firefighters who are looking to become officers in the future.
Take a few hours on a Saturday morning to invest in yourself, your crew, and the future of your department.
Leadership is more than a title. Set the example. Build the culture. Raise the standard.
